  It is essential to be familiar with the possible dangers in your local area to reduce the damage caused during natural disasters. The Fukuoka City Comprehensive Hazard Map shows the whereabouts of evacuation shelters, public facilities and areas at risk. The map also provides information about what to do during flooding and earthquakes. These maps are available at your local ward office and the Fukuoka City Information Plaza.
