Fukuoka City held its first international business matching event “RAMEN TECH -Revolutionizing Asia: Merging Ecosystems & Networks Tech-” on October 9 and 10 at Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City!
Taking advantage of the domestic and international connections that the public and private sectors have built over the past 12 years since the declaration of Fukuoka as a “Startup City,” many startup companies, supporters, investors, and others from not only Fukuoka City but also from other parts of Japan and abroad participated in the event. The event was a great success, filled with enthusiasm and energy from start to finish.
The event featured a wide variety of programs, including pitch competitions, booth exhibits, business matchings, and networking. The event provided a foothold for startups from Japan and abroad to enter the global market, and was a valuable opportunity to expand the possibilities for business collaboration and innovation creation.
The two-day event was a memorable event that demonstrated Fukuoka City's position as a global innovation hub and a base for pioneering the future together with startups.
In this competition, 84 startups from 18 countries and regions competed for the first prize, and the Taiwanese startup 『CancerFree Biotech』, which develops personalized cancer drug testing technology, was crowned the winner!
