Hakata　Ningyo　博多人形

　Hakata ningyō are a type of doll that has the design painted directly onto the unglazed porcelain, allowing you to feel the warm characteristics of the dolls.

　博多人形は、素焼きの人形にそのまま着色することで、本来のぬくもりを感じられる人形です。

Hakata　Magemono　博多曲物

　The items known as Hakata magemono are made by bending thin planks of cedar or cypress wood and binding the edges of the planks together with cherry tree bark.

　

博多曲物は、杉や檜の薄い板材を曲げ、板の端を桜の皮で綴じ合わせて作られています。

Hakata　Hariko　博多張子

　This handmade folk craft is made by layering high-quality handmade washi paper and newspaper over clay or wooden molds with funori glue. Each piece is hand-painted after being dried under the sun.

　

博多張子は、極上の手漉和紙・新聞紙・フノリ等を使い、粘土で作った型や木の型に貼り付け、天日で乾かし手描きで彩色したものです。
