The Fukuoka Method is the safe and sustainable landfill technology developed jointly by Fukuoka City and Fukuoka University. It has been adopted around the world in order to facilitate landfill site improvements, thereby contributing to solving urban waste issues and promoting decarbonization.
FMGN will hold its second online seminar in fiscal 2026, with the program to introduce the present status of waste management in developing countries and cases where the Fukuoka Method was adopted to improve landfill operations to address the situation.
We hope that many people will participate in the event.
