Fukuoka Method was implemented in Kiambu County, Kenya as the first new landfill and improvement case in Africa. We will hear first-hand information on the experience and lessons learned from Kiambu; the progress, issues, challenges and future improvement plans, in particular amid COVID-19 pandemic when travel by Fukuoka experts to project sites had to be limited.
